How We Met

Long before we ever went on a date, our story actually began in high school. We knew of each other and crossed paths, but somehow, he never actually talked to me.

He later told me that even back then, he felt drawn to me and had fallen in love with my eyes. To this day, I tease him about it: “So you got close enough to see my eyes, but never actually talked to me?” Apparently, everyone else knew he had a crush on me… except me! I had no idea.

We laugh about it now, but looking back, it’s pretty special to think that something about me caught his attention all those years ago, even before either of us knew where our story would eventually lead.

We didn’t hang out or have a relationship in high school. We simply went our separate ways, carrying on with our own lives… until God brought us back together years later. God was writing our story long before we knew it.

Our first date was a simple coffee date, but it honestly felt like we had already known each other forever. We walked and talked for hours, and I remember not wanting the day to end. Conversation came so naturally, and being with him felt effortless from the very beginning.

First Memory of Angel

One of my favorite memories will always be our second date. What started as a simple dinner turned into the most perfect night filled with laughter, deep conversation, and so much joy. After dinner, we went bowling, and later found ourselves in a quiet parking lot where he taught me how to dance bachata under the stars. We slow danced, shared our first kiss, and in that moment, everything just felt right.

When She Knew

That was when I knew. For the first time in my life, I felt a deep sense of peace, comfort, and safety — something I had never experienced before. Being with him felt like home, and I knew he was the one I had been praying for.

What She Loves Most About Him

What I love most about him is the way he loves so genuinely and selflessly. He is a Godly man who is loyal, thoughtful, honest, patient, kind, and the hardest-working man I know. He keeps me calm when I begin to stress, supports me without hesitation, and makes every part of life better simply by being in it. He is truly everything I prayed for and so much more.

How We Met

We met at Freedom High School. She was Miss Popular, and I was the guy quietly noticing her from across the room, already drawn to something I could not fully explain. At the time, it felt like nothing more than a crush. Looking back now, I know it was so much more than that. It was God already moving, already writing a story neither of us could see yet. What seemed small back then was actually the beginning of something intentional — a love that would eventually find its way back to us and grow into the life we share today.

My First Impression of Moriah

The first thing that caught my attention was her eyes — rich coffee brown, the kind you never forget. But what truly made me stay was everything behind them. Moriah has a heart that is genuine, selfless, and deeply rooted in family. She may come across quiet and a little shy at first, but once we started talking, it felt like we had known each other forever.

Our first date felt effortless. We laughed so much that we lost track of time and everything happening around us. Her laugh is the kind that fills a room and stays with you long after the moment passes. From the very beginning, nothing felt forced. Everything just felt right.

When I Knew

I knew in the moments that did not seem big at the time, but ended up meaning everything. Hours on the phone that somehow felt like minutes, even though she is not usually someone who likes being on the phone for long. The way time disappeared whenever we were together. The way life felt lighter, clearer, and more meaningful with her in it.

She did not just come into my life — she changed it. She challenged me to grow, strengthened my faith, and inspired me to become the man I am meant to be. Loving her felt like finding the missing piece I did not even realize I had been searching for, and finally seeing the full picture come together.

What I Love Most About Her

What I love most about Moriah is not only who she is, but the way she loves. She loves deeply, fully, and without hesitation. She brings warmth into every space, joy into every moment, and purpose into our life together.

With her, and with our girls, life feels complete. There is never a dull moment, and honestly, I would not want it any other way.

Closing

What started as a quiet feeling became something God had been building all along — a love grounded in faith, strengthened through time, and centered around family. Moriah is not just the love of my life; she is my answered prayer.

And I truly believe that everything we have experienced so far is only the beginning of all God still has planned for us.
